Tap or click the piano keys to play notes. On a desktop or laptop, you can also use your computer keyboard, which makes it easier to practice melodies, chords, and simple exercises.
Open the controls to adjust the piano sound, effects, rhythms, and keyboard options, such as transpose, size, and mapping.
If you are using a custom keyboard mapping, click Edit Mapping to choose which computer keys play each note. This is useful if you want a layout that feels more natural for your hands or matches the songs you are practicing.
Use 8vb and 8va to shift the keyboard range down or up by one octave. This helps you reach lower or higher notes without changing the on-screen keyboard size, though you can also use the Size control to change how many octaves are displayed.
Click the MIDI button to connect a MIDI keyboard or controller. Once your device is selected, you can play the virtual piano with your external keyboard for a more realistic experience, including velocity response.
